Thalion padded slowly among the tall grass, the tiny slivers gliding smoothly over his coat. The ocean lapped gently over the small amount of sand not covered by the massive body of water. A deep black crow cawed obnoxiously as it flew over head and landed harshly on top of a nearby tree. He stared at the masculine brute with curious eyes and continued to caw. His song soon changed to that of hunger as he lifted abruptly up of the tree and flew away again, leaving the leaves rustling. Thalion turned his head towards the water and walked towards it. His paws sunk deeply into the warm sand leaving deep tracks behind him. Reaching the water, he lowered his head and lapped at the salty liquid. It burned his throat and left a horrible taste in his mouth but that didn't matter. He was too fatigued to even care right now.
As he lifted his head and gently shook the small water droplets that had formed around his muzzle off he attempted to clean himself up. Hardened mud caked the bottom of his legs, twigs, leaves and dirt where buried underneath his thick coat and his fur was ruffled around the various objects in it. He gave an exasperated sigh and began to work on his appearance. After he was somewhat decent he prepared himself to howl for the Alpha. He cleared his throat and raised his torso to a regal position just as his father had trained him. Even though he hated most of his father's methods of life, looking strong and bold might get him accepted.
Leaning his head back and raising his muzzle, Thalion let out the loudest howl he could muster through his exhaustion. "Alpha or Alphess of N. De'mazur, i wish to make your acquaintance please." He then returned to his former position hoping for the very best to come his way.

Raksha galloped hard towards the source of the howl. Froth dripped from her open maw as the exertion took over her body. I'm out of shape... She thought, shocked. Normally she maintained her body well, yet here she was struggling for breath. The coastline appeared before her suddenly, bringing back memories of Grunge beach. There she had completed her first successful hunt, making her able to live on her own. Raksha sighed and rounded a dune, comming face to face with a large brute. The Alphess yelped in suprise and stared.
Raksha blinked her eyes and spoke clearly. I'm sorry. You had startled me. I was not expecting you to be so close. My name is Raksha. I am the N. De'mazur Alphess.

Thalion smiled a little. He had indeed seen the Alphess approaching but he thought she had noticed him. Apparently not. Blowing the incident off, he bowed his head and lowered his body as close to the ground as possible. "I'm sorry m'lady. I did not mean to startle you." his voice was deep and raspy so much like his fathers. Inside he wanted to flinch and run away for seeming so much like his father but from all the training he had, he managed to hold his ground and kept his face solemn. Raising his body, his ice blue eyes met hers, "I am Thalion and i am wishing to become accepted into your pack if at all possible" If you could tear away the first layer of Thalion's face, you would see eagerness and anticipation to be able to start his life over again. Once more unfortunately, after all his father's wishes, his face held no expression.

A gust of wind whipped through the dense sea-grass fur of the Wolf Mother their paws were firmly planted on. he Alphess smiled warmly at Thalion and nodded her head slightly an affirmation to his response. He seemed like a nice brute and a wonderful addition to her pack but... She brought her head to the side quizzically and studied his face. It was emotionless, totally devoid of expression..yet... She saw a sorrow in his eyes. Her mind conjured a million different reasons for his sadness, but for now, the black wolf concentrated on his coat. Raksha let her orange orbs scan over him lightly and she frowned. He seemed so homely and dishevelled. Poor creature..She thought. He looks like he journeyed far. I can fix him though..
The fae cleared her throat and squatted down to the ground until she was laying on her belly. Leveling her eyes with Thalions, she stated, " Please, I am no more a wolf than you are. I don't particularly crack down on formalities unless you insult me or.." The black femme chuckled. " Try to take my lands. We are friends and family now. Welcome to North De'mazur, my friend!" Raksha's eyes glowed with pride as she raised herself up, content.

Thalion raised himself up as well, returning to his seated position. He sat a little taller then the black fae so his ice blue orbs gently looked at the alphess in front of him. She was so kind to him, so unlike his father and recent Alpha. And her eyes . . . he had never seen anyone's eyes that shade of orange or who's were so captivating. Her laugh was free and light so much like his mothers. Oh how he longed to just forget his past and move on, but it seemed so impossible. Everything was so fresh, clear and daunting his every move.
He cleared his throat hoping to distiguinsh the thought from moving any further. "I thank you my dear fae. You are truly a kind soul," he dipped his head and when he raised it he found that the side of his mouth was longing to curl into the smile he almost never used. Slowly he let it pull freely into that smile he inherited from his mother. That beautiful smile he longed to see once more.

Raksha's eyes lite up as she watched Thalion smile. He looked like he was struggling with an inner anguish, eyes do not lie, yet the smile seemed honest enought. She smiled with him and barked gaily. "Come. Let us go to the dens. I am expecting a new wolf there and I have a guest; another Alphess from our neighbor territory.
The Alphess jumped to her feet and caught the brutes eye. They were a beautiful deep blue. The kind of blue where the vast expanse of ocean and sky meet. She smiled again and turned toward her dens, beginning to run.

Thalion nodded and stood as well though he stood there for a moment watching the black fae run ahead. His mind was still quite baffled how fast she had accepted him. In his father's pack that would have never happened. You had to show yourself worthy to be entered, show you had a purpose to join, show you could actually do something of importance. He let his head hang as the breeze calmly picked up and blew the dark fur around his face. Everything was changing and changing so fast. He felt the burn of tears swell behind his eyes. He shut his eyelids quickly. Smarten up Thalion! You have no right to act like a blundering fool boy! His fathers words and deep, angered voice echoed painfully throughout his entire body. He felt his legs begin to tremble and weaken beneath his weight. His whole body wanted to succumb to the painful sobs and tears that threatened to come but he fought them with all his strength. Standing tall and making sure all tears that wished to come were stopped he ran after the black fae to the dens. His new home.
